During Mass, just follow along the best you can with what everyone else does in terms of sitting, standing, and kneeling. Don't worry about the speaking parts of the mass, although feel free to join in if you know it.
You can participate the same as any Catholic in all parts of the mass except for Holy Communion. Because the Eucharist is the true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, and not just a symbol, receiving Holy Communion is extremely significant. To receive Holy Communion is to affirm and proclaim that you agree with the Church on everything She teaches. As such, non-Catholics are not permitted to receive Holy Communion. Instead of receiving Holy Communion, you may come forward with your arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing, or simply remain in your pew.
Please join us any time! You are welcome to chat with our missionaries and any staff if you have any questions.
